In questo poche righe, viene descritta quella che è l'atra faccia della medaglia della Rivoluzione Industriale. L'incredibile quantità di prodotti che l'industria riesce ora a generare, sfruttando anche le prime macchine, finisce spesso per produrre un surplus, oggetti invenduti, accumulati in vere e proprie discariche che sorgono nelle periferie delle grandi città.
Stessa sorte spetta ai prodotti danneggiati o mal funzionanti, inizia cioè a crearsi la mentalità consumista che è giunta, con gli anni, sino a noi.

In this few lines, there is a description of the negative consequences of the Industrial Revolution.

The amazing amount of products that the industry is now able to generate, using also the first machines, often ends up producing a surplus, unsold items, accumulated in real landfills that are located in the suburbs of large cities.

The same fate is up to the damaged or malfunctioning objects, the consumerist mentality is boring, that one that, after years, we still have today.
